This is the accelerator cable to fit Scout II with the following drivetrains:
1971-74 w/ 196 engine RHD Type B* (Needs adapted, drill 3/8” hole
and use 440992C1 bushing in accelerator pedal)
1971-72 w/ 232 or 258 engine RHD Type B* (Needs adapted, drill
3/8” hole and use 440992C1 bushing in accelerator pedal)
1973-75 w/ 232 or 258 engine RHD Type B
1976-80 w/ Diesel engine and Manual Transmission LHD Type B
1975-80 w/ 196 engine RHD Type B
1976-80 Diesel Standard transmission Left hand drive
This cable is approximately 57" long, has a socket fitting on the carburetor end, and a ball on the gas pedal end that fits into a slot on the end of the accelerator lever.
This can be used on other applications as long as the ends are the same and it is longer than the old one.
